State, national leaders coming to Fall Assembly

Michigan Head Start Association’s Fall Assembly program will once again include state and national leaders in early childhood education.

Susan Broman, Deputy Superintendent of the Office of Great Start, is a confirmed speaker for the Sept. 26-27 event. Yasmina Vinci, Executive Director of National Head Start Association, will also speak at the conference. Both were speakers at last year’s assembly as well.

Head Start directors, staff and parents will gather at Mission Point, located on Mackinac Island. The two-day event includes an assembly meeting, keynote speakers and breakout sessions.

Members of the MHSA Board of Directors will arrive at the island a day early, Wednesday, Sept. 25, for a Board Meeting. Early registration and a welcome reception will take place that night.

Registration is now open and can be accessed here. You must register by Aug. 28 to pay the early bird rate.
