We were excited to hear the news of Ms. Beverly Ann Hogan being nominated and selected as an Exceptional Emerging Leader of 2015 with Exchange Magazine. Ms. Hogan has, on multiple occasions, brought her expertise to Head Start parent workshops with the Michigan Head Start Association. Her background as a former Head Start parent and former Head Start employee provides her with a deep connection to those attending her workshops. Through her opportunities with Head Start, Ms. Hogan received a CDA credential and went on to earn an Associate’s Degree and then a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She has held various positions within Head Start including: Teacher Assistant, Lead Teacher, Family Service Worker, Parent Involvement/Program Governance Specialist, and Fatherhood Outreach Worker. She is looking forward to enrolling in a Master’s program for Social Work in the near future. Congratulations to Ms. Beverly Ann Hogan!
