The National Head Start Association (NHSA) recently recognized 13 Head Start grant recipients as part of NHSA’s Program of Excellence Accreditation. The accreditation entails a three-month applications process that gives programs an opportunity to showcase all facets of their operation through the 41 Indicators of Excellence framework.
New St. Paul Head Start Agency in Detroit was among the 13 grant recipients nationwide to be recognized. “NHSA’s Program of Excellence Accreditation is a rigorous process that recognizes agencies that continuously strive to exceed program goals. Congratulations to New St. Paul Head Start Agency for their achievement and all that they do in support of families and children in Detroit,” said Robin J. Bozek, Michigan Head Start Association Executive Director.
13 Head Start Programs Accredited as Program of Excellence
Washington, D.C. – This week, the National Head Start Association (NHSA) recognized the outstanding performance of 13 Head Start grant recipients as part of NHSA’s Program of Excellence Accreditation.
The Program of Excellence recognizes and supports the outstanding performance of Head Start grant recipients nationwide who demonstrate excellence in program management and service and support robust positive outcomes for children birth-to-five, pregnant people, families, and the communities where they live.
The 2022-27 Program of Excellence accredited programs are:
